A Message from our new President
The Alexandria Monroe Twp. Historical Society has been blessed with great leadership over the past years.
I want to express my personal Thanks and Appreciation for a great job that was done by Nancy Draper and all other officers over the years. Nancy did an outstanding job as the leader of the Historical Society and it will be a
difficult task filling her shoes.
On Jan. 1st, 2006 I began my term as the newly elected President of the Society. I thank you for you having the faith in me to fill that position. I pledge to you that I will do the best I can to make this year another successful one.
However I am well aware of the fact that a leader can only be as good as the people that are working along side of he or she. We have a great group of volunteer helpers that do excellant work. That work has not gone unnoticed by me and I wish to add my personal thanks and congradulations to them for the work they have done and will continue to do to make the Alexandria Monroe Twp. Historical Society even better. Without the help of these volunteers this would not be possible.
During this year we will be actively working to gain new members and will be seeking active participation from the present members so that we may continue the collecting and preservation of historical items that relate to the history and culture of Alexandria and Monroe Township..
Again let me thank each and every member for your support of the Society. I ask for your continued support as we move forward this year.

James H. Spade
